The CQC FibreLite Rescue Cradle is designed to be more lightweight, more compact, and more versatile than any comparable device available on the market. This rescue cradle is a maritime recovery system that allows man overboard (MOB) recovery and can be operated by a single crew member. It can be used as a boarding ladder, a scramble net, and a temporary stretcher for immediate casualty evacuation. It is a SOLAS-approved recovery cradle that requires only regular inspections and minimal maintenance since there are no working parts. Also, this portable cradle can be easily rolled and stowed for easy transportation and storage.

This is primarily used by rescue craft, ship lifeboats, rigid inflatables, and marinas for MOB recovery. It helps in the rescue and recovery of victims that fall into trenches, ditches, or similar. For casualty rescue, the cradle is secured at the inboard end while the outboard end is held outwards firmly by the hand, bridle, or boat hook, mainly depending on the size of the craft. The victim is then safely guided onto the cradle, hauling up the outboard end.
